FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I BOOK?

  • Click the "Book Appointment" button on the navigation bar above or go to Calendly.com/beatbydeesh

  • Select the makeup service you want to book with me,  the available date and time, then fill all required fields

  • Prepare to send your retainer fee to me after you set your appointment through Calendly. (Directions on how to do this are provided under each service description)


No retainer = no appointment!

 

If a time you desire is not available, please email me. I am flexible with my schedule, I might be able to accommodate. 

WHAT IS THE RETAINER FEE?

The retainer fee is what is used to secure your appointment with me. This is %30 of your total balance. This amount needs to be paid up front in order to secure the appointment. Remaining balance will need to be paid by the day of the appointment

CAN I COME TO YOU?

At this time, I do not have a home studio to take clients into therefore I am only a traveling makeup artist. I bring my entire equipment (chair, lights, table, kit) with me to set up at your designated location. By booking with me I ensure that you are receiving the full experience of having studio-ready makeup.

WHAT IS THE TRAVEL FEE?

Travel fee will be based on the mileage traveled from the 92780 zip code, where I am based. 10miles radius from 92780 is complimentary. Over 10 miles, it will be $2 per mile, round trip. Any tolls and parking fees will need to be covered as well.
For events that require over 2 hours of travel time, it is required that the client secure a hotel room
for the artist at the client’s expense. For any travel out of state, travel expenses (plane + hotel + transportation) will need to be secured at the client's expense as well.

YAY YOU'RE BOOKED! WHAT CAN I KEEP IN MIND OF FOR OUR APPOINTMENT?

  • Provide an area for me to set up my station at, preferably where there is natural lighting and with a nearby outlet

  • Please be mindful of your artist/s and provide close parking if possible, this helps cut down my arrival and depart time tremendously! I travel with 30+ lbs of makeup and equipment, so this will be doing me a huge favor. Thank you in advance.

  • Ensure your skin has been exfoliated and moisturized either the night before or hours before the appointment. A cleansed & moisturized face will ensure best makeup application!

  • Please get some rest the night before. I want to make you look your best so do your part by getting your beauty sleep. This will be a game changer to how you feel the next day :)
